Want to Know The Secret To Having Time To Spend Doing The Tasks You Love?

Outsource!

Here is the thing: You cannot do it all.

As a business owner, you tend to wear a lot of hats. To some extent that is part of running a business. But, take a moment to think about all those tasks and identify the areas that you love. You are unique! There is no one else quite like you! There will be some things that you just SHINE in!

I love the term ‘zone of genius’ to refer to these one-of-a-kind skills, experience, or qualities that you bring into your business. This is the stuff that you are really good at and you love doing!

Maybe this is running a retail shop, crafting a product, mentoring, teaching, massage, healing or consulting with your clients. It is generally the reason you started your business in the first place. And it is an area you are passionate about.

Then there are those other tasks that you kinda dread doing. Ones that you simply don’t enjoy, they leave you feeling overwhelmed, or maybe you just know that it is just not a good use of your time. The good news is that you don’t need to do it all!! This is where outsourcing comes in!

Whether you bring on a Virtual Assistant, outsource a few projects, or delegate a specific task to a specialist you are effectively creating more time in your business to work on the bits that you do love. To start with you can just pick one task like a monthly email newsletter or getting some help setting up a new opt-in. It doesn’t have to be a huge commitment to start.

When you are able to spend the bulk of your time on the tasks that you love you will find business feels more aligned. You have the ability to create a business that you love. And one that doesn’t leave you feeling burnt out. You might even find you have more mental space to create a new program or the spare time to close your laptop on the weekend.

Just remember you don’t need to do it all! Focus on the areas of your business that you are really good at and build a plan to outsource the other stuff. Give yourself some time back. In short, have fun in your Zone of Genius and use outsourcing to help you build a business that you love!
